Stay up-to-date with the latest baseball research.

The Baseball Research Database contains links to over 300 peer-reviewed articles on sports medicine and performance to get you started in baseball.

I wish I had this as a new clinician.

I spent years building my own library of sports medicine research. There was no blueprint. It was just hours upon hours searching for articles.

I'm a firm believer that regularly reading research is one of the fastest ways to accelerate your career path.

I'm grateful I did it, but I wish there was a better way.

I wish someone would've just handed me a list of articles to guide me in the right direction.

Well, here's the guide—a database of articles categorized by:

  • Foundational principles
  • Body part
  • Strength and conditioning principles
  • Hitting biomechanics
  • Pitching biomechanics
  • Recovery strategies and more...

Here's what you'll receive:

  • Notion template database with instruction guide
  • Links to 300+ articles
  • Links to 110+ open access articles

FAQs:

1. Who is this database for?

The database is for any clinician, coach, or athlete interested in learning more about baseball sports medicine and performance.

2. Does the database contain full-text articles?

This database only contains links to research articles. Due to copyright restrictions, full-text articles are not included.

However, many of the links have open access full-text files available for download.

If you would like to upload your own full-text PDF articles to a personal copy of the database, I have created a full-text property that will allow you to do so.

3. What types of articles are linked in the database?

In general, I included any research articles that I thought may help guide training and rehab for the baseball athlete.

Some articles focused exclusively on baseball players.

Other articles studied athletes in different sports.

Some articles discussed general tissue adaptation, training, and recovery principles across a wider population.

4. Is this a subscription?

No, this is a one-time payment for lifetime access to the database. I will periodically add new articles to the database for free. No further payment necessary.

5. I have more questions. How can I contact you?

You can send me a direct message on LinkedIn.
